The AGP or PCI-E versions of the GeForce 6600GT or even 6600 regular should handle 1600x1200 very well, with decent gaming performance (excellent on the 6600GT) to boot.

Got my 2001fp today. I ran a lcd test program on it and can't find no dead pixels what so ever no matter how hard I look. However there is some very slight backlight bleed-threw on the left-top side of the monitor. It's not really bad but is there and only can be seen on a black background of course. I'm keeping the monitor. Havent tried any games on it yet.

$749 - 20% automatic off - $150 = $449. I don't think today's $35 coupon will stack on AMEX.

Also, some of the Dellf coupons are indicating an expiration of 1/15, so they may still work.

If interested, AMEX coupons are going for about $60-80 on ebay, still a net savings of around $70-90.
Note: Amex coupons good on $600+ purchase, so no go on the Ultrasharp 19" at $599 (unless you add fluff).

I think I'll have to call them and get my price down from $554. $27 savings is worth it for me to wait 2-3 more days.

I doubt it. You could read their terms and conditions if you want. I just canceled my order and reordered again. Saved $27. Prices are always dropping... I have until the 12th to see if there are any more price drops, before it gets shipped.

I called for a price adjustment, they said I should cancel and reorder again. This was because mine didn't ship yet, so it might be different in other situations.

Looks like they pulled the 20% off the 2005FPW already.. I saw this morning in Dell Home they had it $599, but now its at list for $749..

Only the 25% off the 2001fp is in effect now..
