This whole experience has really turned me off Dell. I doubt I'll ever buy from them again.
My LCD had the 'brightness in four corners' problem. Called Dell, spent an hour and a half on the phone with some guy that spoke very poor english, who told me he would have to call me back with a case number and RMA because their systems were down. Two days later, still no callback.
Called Dell, held for 30 minutes, talked to a guy who had to transfer me to another department, another 30 minutes on hold. Explain the situation, of course no case number, by this time I'm ticked and just want a refund. RMA issue, told me they'd pick it up yesterday.
Yesterday came and went, called this morning, another 30 minutes on hold, talked to someone else who couldn't speak much english to find out for some reason the notice didn't get issued to UPS for pickup, promises someone will be here tomorrow afternoon to pick. We'll see.
That's 2-1/2 hrs wasted.
