I've played the game on 3 email addresses per day every day for the last month and have only gotten 1 25% LCD coupon. I don't know how all of you get so many.

Give yourselves a break. This will be less than $500 before the end of January. Then you'll be dinking around with Dell on a return and re-order. Returns at Dell are pure torture if you've ever been through one. Maybe the 17" Samsung at Best buy for ~$200 will make you just as happy. (A better monitor for the money anyway.)

I played this for 1 day and got 2. I created tons of accounts. I must have played over 100 times to get them. I'm still waiting to see if there are better deals next year. Tam0's right, the prices will probably start to drop by end of January.

I'd like to get one, but don't really need one yet.

I hope you're right. I think I can wait with my 17.4" lcd from a Dell deal a couple of years ago, which was more expensive than the 2001fp.

That $450 price is with the AMEX coupon though, isn't it? That's even more rare than the 25% coupons from dell. And it's NOT really a FREE $150 coupon since you'll need to buy it off of someone for a price.

Correct, that's with the AmEx coupon. Who cares how much they cost, we're only talking about the bottom line right? Even if I had to pay a million bucks for the coupon and my price for the monitor was $450, does it really matter?

Well, the bottom line is at least $500 after you buy a $150 of $400 on ebay for ~$50. Its still a better deal, but it does matter how much you have to pay for the coupon.

Yeah, I read my post like 5 times and for the life of me couldn't figure out why dabudda freaked like that.

The point was that it doesn't matter that you have to pay for the coupon if you are still getting the monitor for $450. But for all you people who want to pay more for the monitor, go ahead. Certainly no problem for me. I'm sure Dell appreciates it.
