I know this monitor fluctuates in price periodically so lots of people watch for it to come on sale. Didn't see it posted here in the forum, so thought I'd get the word out. Instant rebate expires 2/26, and may be combined with other offers (see edit below).

http://accessories.us.dell.com...dhs&cs=19&sku=320-6272

$689 - $170 instant = $519. Link is Home and Home Office. I know some coupon deals have been posted but they've either expired/hit their limit, or whatever. And this price is lower I believe.

Free shipping also, BTW.

EDIT: If you go through the Small Business site, you get the same instant rebate, and you can use the coupon code someone already posted (in the 2209WA thread) and you end up at $493.05.

http://accessories.us.dell.com...731-227502-153848-n-11

Coupon code 279Q?2MFSXSPS2 apparently expires today (2/20), so good (slightly better) deal for the next few hours.

EDIT: This is now listed at $669 before rebate, so it's $669 - $170 = $499. The 6% coupons on ebay are no longer viable with this rebate because the MPP/EPP site(s) aren't listing the $170 instant rebate. You'll get your 6% but it'll be 6% off $669. If you monkey with the payment options you'll get the option of using your DPA for an additional 3% off.

Thanks!

Tax brings it back to original price lol after 170$ instant. Not too big of a deal. I went ahead and ordered it.

This also works for the 2709. After the promo code on the small business website it comes out to be around $595.

Don't forget free shipping!

BHD$D6KJVW3G12

I used it to get the 2709 for 610+Tax (Texas so it was 50 bucks) shipped using the discount, the free shipping coupon and Dell DPA.

Your state has a 32% sales tax?

Maybe that's with shipping. Although, doesn't Dell almost always have free shipping on monitors?

There is a 6% coupon on ebay that works if you want to use your perferred account

No... 6%

Original price after 170$ instant = 519$

The price before tax was 493$. Multiply by 1.06 for 6% tax, and it is 525$ roughly. Thus, the little coupon was canceled out bringing the price to the after 170$ instant coupon price.

Again, no big deal. I went ahead and bought it because Dell's bright pixel policy is acceptable to me.

I see. You were referring to the other coupon code.

Thinking hard about pulling the trigger on two of these monitors. How hot of a deal is $519 for this monitor? How often do sales come along for this monitor that are in this ballpark or lower?

I have 2 of these on my PC at work and I love them. Blows the rest of my LCD's away in picture quality. A little too pricey for my needs at home, though.

That is why I went with the 2709. Seemed too much for the 24, but for the 27 it was palatable. 100 bucks for the bigger monitor. Sold!

Is one pretty much guaranteed to get the A01 revision now that does not have the horrible input lag of the original revision?

I got one of these for around $360 with 10% ebay coupon and 25% cashback and it's an amazing monitor. When you take things as a whole, with the high color gamut, the inputs, the nice stand, the card reader, the usb port, the OSD, and just the look of the thing, it's worth every penny.

But, then again, I paid $360.

This is an 8-bit *va monitor with great viewing angles, it is going to be significantly more expensive than cheap 24" TN panels. One should not just look at size to determine value.

I just got the monitor (came 1 day early) and out of the box on VGA out of my laptop, the monitor is looking very excellent. My reference is the 2405. I'm glad I bought this monitor. When my desktop components come in, it can only get better!

Nice deal, no pixel anomalies, no backlighting issues.

My 2709 just arrived this afternoon.

Of course its unboxed and put in its new home. Very good color reproduction out of the box. No dead pixels, and I am quite enjoying the monitor.

I had 2 HP 2408h's and before that 2 Dell 2005FPWs (those are now on the desk to my right).

There is no doubt the dell drop kicks those HP monitors into the Gulf of Mexico, and is as good looking as the 2 IPS paneled 2005FPW.

This was a very good buy. Rep for the OP

I got a 2709 a few weeks ago and love it, had the typical blacklight issue in the top right and left hand corner as most of them do, but I contacted dell about it and instead of shooting for a replacement I asked for a coupon and they gave me a $100 coupon toward a future purchase

The 6% coupons on ebay seem to provide a special EPP link that enables you to use the coupon and get the discount. I don't think you need to use the DPA.

Sorry if this is a repeat post after all...

Thanks for the deal OP. I just pulled the trigger for $501.59 after tax.

I received a 7% discount for shopping through my university's store, and an additional 4% for paying with my Dell DPA, which definitely helped sweeten the deal.
