I just orded the Dell Inspiron XPS Gen 2, and after much debating I decided to go with the 2GHz instead of teh 2.13GHz Processor. Spending $300 for another .13GHz just doesn't seem worth it to me, instead I upgraded to 1gig of ram.
The two options are:
Intel® Pentium® M 770 Processor (2.13GHz/533MHz FSB) [add $300 or $9/month1]
Intel® Pentium® M 760 Processor (2GHz/533MHz FSB)
Is there any difference between the 760 and 770 other than proc speed? What are your opinions on spending $300 for the 770? I ordered it 2 days ago but I obviously have a long time to change it. I've been going back and forth on it and just want to make sure I won't regret my decision not to get the 770 in a year or two.
*edit* Wow... I'm an idiot. Ordered it and didn't notice the ship date was over a month off, for some reason I was thinking it was March 8th but it's April, which makes sense considering it was just announced. Gonna cancel my order, as I can always re-order it later if I decide in a month I still want that.
