DELPHI SKYFi XM Radio $44.97 AR and FREE first month + FREE activation.

I have been on here for a while reading all the great deals you guys have posted, and thought I would share this with you guys.
I went into BestBuy today and picked up the DELPHI SKYFi XM Radio which is normally 129.99 plus tax. Well I found a 50 dollar off coupon and got it for 72.99 without tax.
I then had my brother and mom go into the store and pick up the Delphi SA10004 Home Kit which is normally for 69.99 and used the coupon and got out the door for 15.99 plus tax, and did the same for the vehicle kit. So I got the two kits plus the tuner radio for 104.97 plus tax!
Ontop of this already great deal, there is a 60 dollar rebate available. Making you only pay 44.97 after rebate for a awesome new XM Satellite radio where you can plug it in your car, and then take it out and plug it into your stereo at home.
But the drawback is the 10 dollars a month that you have to pay. But there is also a coupon so that you get free activation and a free month's of service for your new radio!
To get in on this deal you will need to print out coupons that this site gives you. Print out a coupon for the radio tuner and one for each adapter kits.
Go into your local BestBuy and buy these items seperately with each coupon. You may need two good friends to help you out.
Print out the rebate from RebatesHQ and send it in along with your UPC.
And then according to the xmradio.com website:
Once you've installed your XM radio, call Listener Care at 1-800-852-9696 and get FREE activation and one month's FREE service by referencing the PROMOTION CODE (I took the code out because it is on the xmradio site where you get the coupon.

The only drawback I can see that might happen is that you won't get the rebate, because on the details of the rebate it says "This offer cannot be combined with other offers".
But still at 104.97 plus free activation and free months service, that is a great deal! You are saving atleast 170 dollars.

Hopefully some of you will find it useful, I went crazy today when I figured out this deal.

wow, i think this is pretty hot. i was on the xmradio site and there is a $75 rebate for sony receivers and a $50 rebate for pioneer receivers...so if you wanted to get a brand name there are some possible good deals i think.

Holy cats! Good timing! I was just about to buy this exact XM receiver for my dad for Christmas. Let me get this straight - you basically used the same $50 coupon three times? Once for the receiver and once for each of the kits? Do you remember how carefully Best Buy checked your coupon? I'm trying to gauge whether I could maybe just do it all myself...

I printed out three different coupons with different names on each. Just in case it was a problem.
I used three of the same coupons once for the receiver and once for each kit.
They looked at the coupon a little bit. But they didn't even require any ID, so they must have not looked at it well enough. It took them a while though, because they kept on trying to scan the coupon in with their scanner. But then when they finally just typed in the barcode number of the coupon it worked fine.

This deal does work. I picked up the XM tuner and car kit at the same time. I asked the cashier to separate the orders. They did have problems scanning the coupon and entered it by hand. I'm going back to get the home kit at lunch time. If you got your BB credit card statement, check for the $25 gift card coupon with a $100 purchase. Add a game , of something around $28, to the delphi deal to put the total over $100 and get the $25 gift card by mail.

This deal is dead! I went to Bestbuy, grabbed all three of the items, The manager first tried to punch in the coupon 3 times. Only one worked. I had him then cancel the order and ring me up separately, only the received took the $50 dollar coupon. The home/Car kit would not take it. I guess I hit it too late 7:00 pst. I bet they updated the system only for the received. The manager said even though the part# as on the coupon for the car/home kits, it probably meant you can purchase it on the bundle.
Sux, now i gotta return the damn thing!

DANG! The coupon says its good throughout the rest of the year. I'm thinking of doing this this weekend.

The instant rebate code would not ring up for the car and home kits, but the Best Buy cashier just deleted the XM Coupon entry and overrided the system with a generic $50.00 off for each of the kits....

Just play dumb and have them ring up each item individually....

I ended up going to a second Best Buy store to find a nice cashier because the cashier at the first store wouldn't play nice and was looking to call her manager....

I bought a second unit around 6pm EST and had the same problem, the receiver came up with the $50 off, but not the antenna. The manager overwrote it, but I doubt this deal will still be there tomorrow.

Gonna try it on Friday (got a final tomorrow). But I was wondering if I can use this in my car w/o a cassete deck? I like being able to switch from car to home, but my car only has a CD player, no tape deck. Any help for me.

I was at Best Buy yesterday talking to the car audio guy for a while about this very product. Turns out you can only use it with a tape converter. They have not come out with the FM modulator yet. Hope this helps. Jeff

and from what i can figure out, the actual best way to install this thing would be to use aux inputs on your headunit, which would be great if you actually had them - but since the fm modulator is available, no prob if you don't
