Just wanted to post a thumbs up review of the Delta lifetime warranty on their faucets. My 4 year old kitchen faucet valve was leaking. Looked at the replacement price ($30 from Lowes). Thought that was a bit pricey so I hit up the Delta support page, sent a message about the drippy faucet and entered my info. Two days later I have a new valve being shipped to me free of charge.
If you are thinking about new faucets keep them in mind for a good mid-range manufacturer.
Update:
The bonnet nut was on back order so instead of getting my replacement parts in a few days it took about 10 days because they waited to ship the valve until they had the nut back in stock.
My only time investment was five minutes sending a warranty message through their website. No receipt needed, just the model number. My message was essentially "My faucet is dripping and the drip is getting worse". Those same parts would have cost me at least $35-$40.
