If I sue because they won't let my magical unicorn on the plane would you feel bad for me?

Perhaps some skepticism would be in order.

WHAAAA!!! I had to crawl off my airplane... FUCKING WHAAA!!!

He should be glad he didn't have to swim to California and then crawl across the country. Pussy...

What kind of special fucktard makes a comment like that, the dude had to crawl the length of the plane, then down stairs like a slug to get to his wheelchair, was probably dirty as all hell after doing so and completely humiliated as well, if you don't have the equipment in place DON'T SELL THE DUDE A TICKET saying you can handle a wheelchair boarding.

Because most people don't give a shit, are self-centered, ill-mannered, ill-tempered, morally bankrupt, self serving assholes who think that's someone else's problem, not theirs.
http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2332913

Most people are used to others taking the handicapped parking places at stores and getting out of their Corvette and running in the store to buy booze or cigarettes. Too many Social Security Disability fakers and too many people on welfare who don't want to work. It makes people suspicious of handicapped people. Heck, you can rent a handicapped child to take to Disney World to get Front of Line passes. Now you have to even doubt if a handicapped child is really part of a fake family or not. Truly a shame!!

If he can crawl, that means he can use his legs. So, how handicapped is he?

After one run through the magical google search engine, this guy is all over youtube, he is some sort of spiritualist or a wizard or something, and he doesn't seem to be a para.

in the related to the first:

He's a fake and an asshole for doing this, when assholes's like him fake disability it makes people think that most claiming disability are looking for special treatment and the truly disabled get bashed along with this ass. Thing is though, Delta had no way of knowing he was a fake and equipment should be available for REAL handicapped person's when the need arises.

It appears such complaints are nothing new to Delta. Just a year before, Delta received no less than 5,000 complaints against it and was ordered to pay record-breaking fines for this egregious mistreatment of disabled passengers.
Some of the complaints included:

- Delta left a blind woman alone in a wheelchair on a moving walkway.

- Delta failed to bring an 81-year-old man to a hotel after canceling his flight. The man had to sleep in a wheelchair.

- An elderly couple in wheelchairs missed an international flight because Delta failed to board them.

- A woman who needs a ventilator to breathe was removed from a Delta flight, which was a return flight, because the Delta flight crew inexplicably determined that her ventilator and medical equipment could not be brought to the plane.

Or maybe someone on the Delta staff figured out he was faking and that is why they did not give him any accommodations.

Those youtube videos are 3+ years old. Maybe he could walk fine then, but today he can't.

From the article :

"Though a car accident in 2000 left him unable to walk and entirely dependent on a wheelchair"

Typo maybe?

Still just because a video is uploaded in 2009, doesn't mean it was filmed then. It could have been an old video someone decided to upload.

There are a huge number of videos of this guy, some in HD, where he looks just fine.

I call BS.

Though a car accident in 2000 left him unable to walk and entirely dependent on a wheelchair, aisle chairs, and lifts, he says Delta representatives assured him weeks before his flight "that he would be received and given reasonable accommodation for his disability."

Um looks like he has no problem standing and walking around in this video.

I am certain that if he had asked someone, anyone for help off the plane help would have been given. I call BS on this man. People are not as evil as some claim. Strangers are willing to help.

http://www.chron.com/news/houston-t...of-forcing-paralyzed-man-to-crawl-4689616.php

"scheduled to take a series of Delta flights from Maui to Nantucket, Mass., for a conference."

"According to the complaint, the Airline Carrier Access Act and other federal regulations require airlines to have such equipment for disabled passengers.

When Kanaan asked about his options, the flight attendant said, "I don't know, but we can't get you off the plane," the suit states.

Although a lift was visible at an adjacent gate, Kanaan was forced to crawl out of the plane and across the tarmac without any assistance from the crew and with many people watching, according to the lawsuit.

Kanaan called the airlines to complain and to report that he would need the same equipment for his return trip.

Despite assurances it would be there, the complaint states that when boarding began the needed aisle chair and lift were unavailable but a flight attendant told him they could put down a piece of cardboard so his clothes wouldn't get dirty."
Nantucket is a tiny airport.

Delta screwed up majorly.

Actually at the link I posted it said his injuries from 2000 gave him a progressive condition that has gotten worse over time. So, they seem to be saying he wasn't completely paralyzed to later on.

Unless the guy is pulling a huge scam, then why would he be regularly traveling in a wheelchair?
