It seems the source I saw talk about Bill going on towards the end were wrong. here is the schedule. Pete is in the 9pm to finish timeslots, along with Klobuchar, Wes Moore, and the Prince tribute and then one of Walz's former students giving the speech to introduce Coach to close out the night. Also apparently Oprah is speaking the time between now and 9:00 p.m..

From what I can see from over here the Democrats look to be absolutely nailing this.

Hitting a positive note for their stuff and treating Trump as the joke that he is. Why they have waited this long before pulling the Republicans up on their bullshit I don't know!

Bill Clinton said some great things but it just took way too long. He went so far over his minutes. Great content, just took too long for the setups. It's important for people to be up to see the coach accept the nomination, so he should have kept it shorter. I mean the guy does impart great and humorous wisdom from all his experiences, but you got to know when not to hog the stage either.

When there's a high profile event (95 bridge reconstruction) he brings the big energy. prior to being gov when he was AG he would have spots on MSNBC during the 2020 election, he was always eloquent, sharp but didnt have the bombast.

Not only is Walz one of the best picks for VP in recent history, he is literally the perfect candidate for this exact election and the circumstances we are in, of the rural vs non rural division lines we are fighting the most.

And on top of all this by him being the pick, it shows Kamala is not running away from progressive values and not trying to run to the center, or placate moderates by watering down good policy, or hide who we are, but rather be proud of what we are and that we are confident in a better way now to message that across.

Not only did we need a change of a candidate, but we also needed a change of direction like this on how we run campaigns and choose candidates and how we literally message it all.
