Obama will be remembered for the historic nature of his candidacy and the brilliance of his campaign. He is not the first President to face adversity, petulance or obstructionism. I also think he failed to deliver on his hope and change message. He certainly accomplished a few significant things, but also squandered his mandate and was never able to rally a reasonable response to an unreasonable Congress.

I also think he failed to demonstrate leadership in the Middle East. He inherited chaos. He left chaos in his wake

As for Michelle, I believe she is far more deserving of the honor of being America's first woman President. Personal gain, ambition and ego don't seem to be the things that drive her, and I can respect that.
If/when Michelle runs for President we will never hear the end of how awful she was. Did you know she forced schools to serve healthier lunches? I think she even got soda taken out of schools. She's like some sort of dictator. If you elect her she'll probably make soda completely illegal.

I don't believe in equality of opinion if that's what your saying. Most everything in my world is relative as I have not afforded myself the luxury of believing in absolutes...especially where human beings are concerned. But I am duly humbled by your presence.

But 2+2=4 is pretty absolute, though, as is the fact Clinton's a pretty par for course centrist bureaucrat.

I recommend fskimospy look into escrow.

I asked him to do this when the wager was started. He declined. I don't really care if people don't think I'm going to pay up - it says more about them than it does about me.

"Going to pay up" means you're gambling with money you don't have. I hope you don't gamble with bookies.

Nice try on imposing your clueless self narrative on me. Going to pay up means once the bet is actually settled the funds will be transferred. This is not a complex order of operations, even for a brain as damaged as yours.

Seriously. Saying that because the other party refused my request for escrow that there is some suggestion that I don't have the funds readily available is completely ridiculous - especially when my initial ask was for a $1,000 bet with immediate escrow.

Allow me to quote Red on this one. "Dumb-ass".

Because insulting my character without merit shows me what I need to know about yours, just like his.

If in two days HRC gets the nomination then the wager will be settled. I don't really see the point in continuing to ask a question that hasn't been answered yet. I've ignored his jibes because until she's officially nominated (which seems to be the most likely case) then throwing insults and taunts my way aren't worth responding to - it just shows he's a sore winner.

I consider the bet lost - but to be completely candid, Assanage is also known for strategically releasing the most devastating facts last, and also doing so while giving the opposition little to no time to prepare for the fallout (see the DNC having to go through 3 chairs in 8 hours as a direct example of that). I currently feel it's a 50/50 chance she gets the nod, or Assanage finally does the world a favor and releases enough dirt to finally make the blind masses see through the facade and she gets replaced.

If I lose, as it currently seems to be the case, then he will get his BTC. I'd even be willing to throw in an extra $100 on-top of what I'd owe him to raise the bet to $10,000 for the presidency, but I don't think he'd be inclined to lose that kind of cash.

That's funny, considering I only decided to actually take your money and make you pay up after you kept insulting me. By your own standard you seem to be of very poor character.

I didn't really want to take your money because the bet was such an obvious loser for you. I felt bad that you were so blinded by allegiance to a political figure that you couldn't see the facts staring you in the face.

As you wish. Where would you prefer the $100 donated to?

Did you at least give the poor guy odds?

lol, he didn't ask for them. It was a straight 1:1 on something that probably should have bet at more like 9:1. If I remember right I pointed him to some betting markets where he could get better odds but he still decided to take it up with me out of foolish pride or something.

Watching the DNC made me realize that Democrats are just as stupid as Republicans. I don't remember past conventions playing on people's stupidity as much.

Your memory is not as sharp as I thought. Our wager was made after I already put my money where my mouth was for the election.

That's a great idea, actually! Please donate it here:

A simple screenshot will be enough, I trust you to do the right thing.

Certainly. Consider it done.

Ouch! That's gonna leave a mark!

Why? It's his money. It makes no difference if he does it or I do it. Me donating $100 to the Clinton Campaign is not me donating $100 to the Clinton Campaign, it is fskimospy doing so. Unless I missed something, I'm not the boss of fskimospy.

I get it, it's a childish attempt at burning me - reality is I don't care one lick what he does with his money, and donating it for him is far more convenient to me than paying him with BTC.

Frankly, Hillary deserves it more than he does. Win/win. I'm content with that.

You are new and I do not recognize your nick but I do respect people that pay up the bet whenever they lose. No backing out, no running away with tail between legs. No excuse at all. Unlike certain poster in here, all big talk about big bet but when it is time to pay up, run away and fold like a low life bitch.

You are an honorable man.

I don't know about honorable, because the term seems to have changed in recent memory, if not in meaning then in spirit. Regardless, I stand by my word and that is enough for me.

There is some small degree of amusement to this entire thing. The more fskimospy attempts to embarrass me, the more petulent it will make him when I simply do it without caring one bit. I won't even remember the act in short enough time - why would it bother me?

We wagered. Currently looks like I'm going to lose. I was prepared to lose, or I never would have wagered. Seems relatively simple to me - I think you're giving me too much credit (if you're not being sarcastic, etc..).

I'm very curious what experiences might've led to this belief that you're good at determining factual reality.
I'm not and I'm not sure what gave you this impression as I explicitly stated that I was more of a relativist on matters involving political opinions.

But let's turn the tables here. I'm very curious what experiences that might have led to your belief that you're good at determining factual reality.
