"Karen Handel, a Republican, defeated Jon Ossoff, a Democrat, in the most expensive U.S. House race in history. The election was largely seen as a referendum on the first months of Donald J. Trump’s presidency. Republicans maintain control of the seat, which was vacated by Tom Price, the new secretary of health and human services."

I'm still not tired of winning, are you Democrats tired of losing? Tired of losing yet again?

https://www.nytimes.com/elections/results/south-carolina-house-special-election

"The race did not receive the same national focus as special elections in Georgia and Montana."

Now i'm looking forward to some of the spin clowns trying to spin this into a win for Democrats.

Beautiful.

Of course the party that disparages minorities usually wins elections in the south, after the GOP recruited all the racist dixiecrats post civil rights. Degenerates just love it when their klan wins.

Man, you guys seem really excited about a 20 point swing over only 6 months, lol. If every district swings as much as that in 2018 Republicans in the House would almost cease to exist.

How the hell was that shooting a Democrat victory? One of their own degenerated to your level. That's not a victory, that's a fucking living funeral.

Yeah, we know, Buckshit, you think everything's on the level of some fourth grade tackle football match. We get it. Nothing matters but "Rah rah team! Make the other team eat dirt!"

Amoral, shortsighted, mentally-stunted jackoffs like you are the reason the country is beyond salvaging. You can start apologizing from the depths of Hell when it all goes pear-shaped.

We just love seeing the hopes of Dems dashed on the rocks after they raised them so high. Press was breathless in the first vote too.

Why would you love that? You have a seriously twisted viewpoint if you get pleasure out of that. Seek help. Seriously, politics has driven you insane.

If you think Republicans holding a seat by 4 points that they have had for decades and that went for Republicans by 24 points six months ago is a good sign for you then you are welcome to your delusion. That sort of blindness just makes Republicans easier to defeat.

That was a popular incumbent who won by that amount and the Democrats poured multiple millions into the race. It is dishonest of you to compare how much an incumbent won by with an open seat special election. Par for the course.

You realize spending was roughly equal between the two sides, right? Of course it isn't dishonest to compare the two, as that argument would mean the candidate was the only thing that mattered, which is clearly hugely false. Trying to argue that is extremely dishonest and immoral.

If you want to convince yourself that an incumbent accounted for a 20 point swing that's your business. That's an impressive level of self delusion, but if it makes you feel better that's up to you.

Don't forget national interest and it being a special election.

I deeply disagree with the Democratic view of where the country should go. I'm happy when they lose.

From the content of your posts it is almost certain you lack sufficient understanding of policy to make a coherent judgment on that. I've lost track of how many basic facts you get wrong about subjects you express strong opinions about. For you it's a sports team and it shows.

You got yourselves a real stable of winners with peers like roflmouth, that race realist guy, and this one too:

Trump's really kicked over quite the rock if these guys were what's underneath it.

Playing in a deep +20 gop district and lost by 4 points. Hmm I wonder how many GOP seats there are they won by +10.

There is no need to 'believe' you don't know what you're talking about, that's just a simple evaluation of reality. I've lost track of how many times you haven't even understood the basics of something you decided to toe the party line on.
