Do you find your race baiting gets you the attention you desire?

No. People get defensive and support explicitly racist policy rather than confronting racism.

It's depressing how people seem to consider being called a racist the worst thing imaginable, even including actually being complicit in racism.

We're Russian stooges too.

Wait - those pesky Russians stole another election? It's the only possible explanation, amirite?

Trump didn't win it by 24 pts. The Dems put all kinds of money into this race and they still struck out.

Spending between the two candidates was pretty similar. Ossoff's campaign spent a lot more money than hers but outside conservative groups made up most of the difference.

They have the media behind them like never before but it still doesn't flip any seats.

Nonsense. This complaint that because the media isn't biased FOR conservatives means it's biased against them gets so old. You guys need to take some personal responsibility.

The Dems need to think about why they're not winning elections. I know

They aren't winning them because all of the special elections have taken place in heavily Republican districts. The swing in the vote so far strongly indicates that the GOP house majority is in jeopardy. That's pretty good news for democrats.

If conservatives want to ignore the flashing warning lights that's up to them. It's foolish, but you guys have never been particularly good at accepting unwanted news.

You're probably not a good person to judge these things as you dismissed basically all news reporting as 'lunacy' a few weeks back only to see it turn out to be correct.

Remember that?

If anyone's curious, the Dems aren't winning because they've disappeared up their own asshole since '72 when McGovern lost to that complete sleazeball Dick Nixon. This so traumatized them that they decided to put winning elections above their constituency, and over the last 45 years the veneer of working-class populism the party had has been steadily eroding.

It became fairly obvious in the 90s with the one-two punch of "welfare reform" and the passage of NAFTA that the Dems are a center-right corporatist party, at least to anyone with clear vision. But it took another almost 20 years or so for the illusion to be dispelled among a critical mass of people. Modern Democrats are basically late 80s Gordon-Gekko-style Republicans (and modern Republicans are basically the Taliban but too fat and too low-testosterone to grow facial hair...).

In fact, I predict the Dems are going to lose in 2020. Again. Why? Because they'll either run another center-right corporate weasel like Clinton, or the party will split into Sandersite (center and center-left) and Clintonite (center-right) wings, and the infighting will rip them apart.

Like you don't view it as team sport? When was the last time you said a good word about a Republican or a Republican idea?

Of course I don't view it as a team sport, I'm not crazy like you and Buckshot. I mean remember how you showed how incredibly invested you are in politics as a team sport that you stobbornly refused to say a single negative thing about Trump? That's a sickness right there.

As for saying nice things about Republican ideas I think plenty of conservative ideas are good. Werepossum tried to make the same accusations of partisanship you're trying now and ended up eating a large helping of crow, so my suggestion is to not try it.

The Democrats have been losing and losing and losing since Obama was elected in 2008. He's not just talking about these special elections.

Now I know you're insane.

I know how difficult it is for you to accept information that contradicts what you want to believe. If you had to accept that the media isn't biased against conservatives that would mean you would have to think more deeply as to why some unfavorable stories exist, and that's a level of introspection I am certain you will run screaming away from.

You provided no information for me to be scared of, you just stated an obviously ridiculous assertion.

There's some racism in it, but it's about a lot more than that. It's about being discarded by progress, our whole concept of ownership & work as virtue. Back in the late 70's, when the 99% share of wealth reached its zenith, there were a lot more inefficiencies that actually created jobs & inhibited profit taking at the top. The way goods & services are produced & distributed has become much, much more efficient because it takes a lot less people to get it done. Time was when economic growth buoyed working people's fortunes but that doesn't work very well when growth is even more automated. Walmart drove main street out of business & Amazon will try to do the same to them. There's not much there for people who work with their hands. There's not much in long wall coal mining, lights out manufacturing, automated warehousing or a lot of other things, either. If you don't own any of it, you likely won't make any money from it. Your services are not required.

Long haul truck drivers are next, and why not? No sick leave, pensions, workmen's comp. No inefficiency from having to let operators rest.

If it wasn't about racism for their base, then racial resentment wouldn't be the best predictor of party affiliation, and their candidates' performance in the primaries wouldn't perfectly correlate to such a metric. It's certainly not income, in which trumpsters do remarkably well.

I mean, christ, the republicans are a white nationalist party where the elite were on the verge of trying to put a visibly hispanic guy up for election. Good thing for them Trump came along to remind the base what they really thought about those mexicans.

His modus oporandi is that he states something and holds you to his assertions as if they were objective fact. He is delusional. He's just as much of a political hack as any of the rest of us.

I've lost count of how many things you've dismissed as 'obviously ridiculous' that are factually correct.

For example unless something has changed you most recently declared, in opposition to clear SCOTUS precedent, that Trump has unlimited authority to fire Comey even when that would otherwise be a crime and then dismissed the obvious logical implications of that as ridiculous.

Simply put you're far too invested in your personal partisanship to evaluate things rationally. Then again, it kind of goes without saying that creationists aren't known for being rational.

Is bucky a creationist? Wow, that explains a whole lot. No hope for any rationality or objectivity whatsoever from him.
