When you try and explain bias you are admitting that its there. I do not accept his characterization, at all.

Do you not understand English any better than you understand science? Saying the news is biased towards facts is entirely different than being ideologically biased as you claim. In fact, being biased towards factual information is literally the entire point. It's like you claiming that science is biased because it displays a preference for facts.

Thank you for demonstrating my earlier point about your denial of reality so well.

Are you as dumb as you are arrogant? He's admitting that the press is biased against conservatives. He then tries to explain that bias by saying it is biased towards facts. So what do we have? Him admitting bias is real and him trying to explain that bias.

One of us is dumb here, haha. The only bias he admitted to was a bias towards factual information, which is not a bias like you describe at all.

It is frankly hilarious that you are acting so stupidly and so arrogantly here and then trying to project that on other people. Well 90% funny and 10% sad.

Those are two sides of the same coin. For you to accept that as an admission of bias against conservatives, you'd have to concede the premise that the conservative viewpoint and the facts don't line up.

You don't care though, do you? What matters is justifying your knowledge that democrats are working against you to further the existence of intrusive government, and if they could just be sufficiently defeated something will take you to a promised land where things work right. I'm just not honestly sure what that something is.

What is your ideal world, how does it work?

So bias exists and it goes against conservatives because he thinks truth is biased against conservatives. He knows there is bias, he admits there is bias, he then explains what that bias is. There is bias, period. Our explanations as to where that bias comes from doesn't come into this.

The press is supposed to report the facts. They are not supposed to present things in a faux balanced manner regardless of how the facts actually line up.

I suspect you will have no trouble understanding this point if we're talking about a situation where the facts line up with your "side." I recently took a position in closer alignment with conservative posters on the issue of various goings on at Evergreen College, because I felt that was how the facts played out. At first there was limited press coverage of these events, but when the MSM finally got around to reporting on it, the bulk of it favored the conservative criticisms of the students' behavior there. That is because the press was reporting the facts, not pretending to be "in the middle." Do you understand now?

No I wouldn't. That is his explanation as to why the bias exists. He sees an effect and is trying to explain that effect. Two different things.

He is simultaneously an unquestionable source on whether the media lines up with conservative viewpoints and totally confused as to what truth is. This is a rational viewpoint that makes sense.

You calling me screwed in the head is basically the greatest compliment I could receive. Being someone opposite of what you like should be the goal of every decent human being in the world.

She's basically a Republican lite. So of course they hate her. The GOP hates their own beliefs as much as everyone else does, but they forgive it if done to favor themselves.

I agree with you about reporting facts but it isn't just about reporting facts that makes bias evident. Its how you report the facts, how you present it and how often you report it. Do you think if a bunch of conservatives were locking down a campus with this nonsense it wouldn't be a bigger story? I have no doubt. Do you?

Because Fox News is not news as you know it. Its twisted and made to fit 1 agenda.. "make things sound like they were better a long time ago than now".

Do you agree that there is a bias against conservatives in the mainstream press? Whatever the cause.

Your argument fundamentally doesn't work as anything other than a mantra to tell yourself that you're correct.

That's really what matters to you, isn't it. You don't feel like a first class citizen anymore, do you? You put in the effort, act the part, and other people are a priority, and worse yet, government seems to side with them.

It's not whether or not things are true or not, it's whether they have you in mind, isn't it?

The ONLY and I repeat ONLY people that claim the press isn't politically biased in the country are fucking liars. You can sometimes give a little wiggle room to idiots, but no one in this forum is that fsking stupid. So liars are all that remains.

Lol, when he's talking about bias it's what he 'knows' and when he's talking about the cause it's what he 'thinks'. Did you not even notice that you just confirmed exactly what I said about you and information you don't like?

He is simply saying that if news appears unfavorable to conservatives it is because the facts are unfavorable to conservatives. Your desperate attempts to turn someone saying the news is biased towards the facts as vindication of your evidence-free claim that it is biased against conservatives shows you're either extremely stupid or extremely immoral.

Yes, facts have a liberal bias.
