That's the fun thing about a good gerrymander. It's incredibly powerful to secure a majority for a close minority, but if things get too out of hand, there's a ton of narrow optimal wins that all start falling apart.

Speaking for myself, I'll be fine. Hell, this country can go to hell but as a "global elite" I can fall back on my Canadian citizenship, head to southeast Asia with my wife or join my expat friends in Switzerland.
