Appears to me the people are still giving this Trump thing a try.
At least, not quite ready to go back to the Obama days. Not just yet.
So I guess we'll have to wait and see if and how soon the people tire of this new Trump experiment, or what it takes to change their minds, for them to turn against Trump and turn against the republicans.
Let me see..........
Might it just possibly be this healthcare thing ?
Republicans are about to own healthcare lock stock and barrel as it were.
And that is in itself quite un-natural considering republicans have never cared about addressing healthcare before.
They were fine with leaving it alone in the past.
Allowing the employer-based system to churn and grind its gears, and if that left people out in the cold without any care then so be it.
They believed, either get a job and earn your healthcare, or don't come bother me with your sickie problems.
One thing you have to hand it to democrats, that democrats have somehow turned the tide and forced the republicans to catch this healthcare hot potato.
Especially when republicans had no interest in even playing the healthcare game in the first place.
Good job Nancy Pelosi! Slick move Hillary Clinton! Feel that burn Bernie!
You may have lost but.... have you really ????
Do not the democrats have these republicans just where democrats wanted them?
To take full ownership of healthcare?
Democrats have tried and tried for generations to make national healthcare a reality.
Worked to the bone to get all Americans their universal healthcare just like in Canada or in France.
However, all attempts have failed.
Even Obamacare was no wheres near universal or national healthcare, despite what republicans told us.
But now... oh now... this healthcare hot potato has landed squarely within republicans lap. And it only goes to reason that true universal healthcare for each and every American may be just around the corner.
Yes, maybe just maybe it will be the republicans that finally hand Americans universal healthcare by default.
That they will screw it up so badly that Americans will finally come around and realize universal healthcare is not only the right way to do, it may be the only alternative left once that republicans have taken full control of healthcare.
A thought that probably wake republicans like Paul Ryan up at night in a cold sweat asking, "HOW THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN?"
How did we get involved in this spiders web known as healthcare?
And to the extent where we now actually own the damn thing?
Holly Shet Mama Mia, Mama Mia let it not be so....!
