He means that some people are destined to be serfs and that 100% Marxism isn't the answer.Could you dumb that down a bit so the audience can understand

Rand's Objectivism requires that people always be honest, ethical, and informed.Could you dumb that down a bit so the audience can understand
Which ignores the oppression of people's freedoms inspired by religious ideology, demonizing certain groups and attacks on democracy that also come from Trump's regime and his fanatics. You also resort to hyperbole with nonsense like 'socialist state' to refer to countries in Europe. These are functioning democracies that make use of programs funded via taxes, like all developed nations do. America has a ton of huge social programs - see the military, America's most expensive socialist program. Other developed nations simply prioritize different programs as having more value - such as health care.
Try out the Rand utopia where everything is privatized and the free market rules. There are examples to be found of this approach and they result in disaster.

So you consider our military an example of a social program? That's very enlightening. This is why I show up her on liberal sights. I get lines like this one that will make me a hit at cocktail parties. I can't make this kind of stuff up. I'm interested in how the left thinks and this explains a lot.
Funding the military and protecting our borders are well spelled out in the Constitution. They've been a part of our Republic from the beginning. Whereas one of our FF's, James Madison said the following:
“I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents.”
That may have been their intention, but it has been perverted by government over the years, Ike warned us about it in his farewell speech. So you consider our military an example of a social program? I just want to go on record saying this was well thought out, cogently expressed, and undeniable, as well as being so simply expressed that I weep for an America where apparently a significant portion of people (and not just dumb people or people uninterested in politics and sociology) find it difficult to parse out. Well said, and for Christ's sake let us please start teaching political science honestly and objectively in middle school so that people have the background to understand your statement.I have my own saying for this. If everyone could be Howard Roark, then Ayn Rand would be right. If the state could be God, then Karl Marx would be right. Neither are true, of course.

Yeah, gerrymandering and voter suppression have nothing to do with that amirite?

Because this is America and not Germany. I know the goal of the far left is to turn us into Germany but they don't understand that Americans don't long to be European. We fought that war 200+ yrs ago and many more of us fled Europe since then. That DNA is still in us today.
God Bless America.
SCOTUS disagrees with you, I think I trust their opinion more than yours in this case.No such thing as voter suppression, better luck lying next time.

Only in America can a politician say he wants to build a vertical wall to keep out immigrants on the southern border of the entire united states and have it made up entirely of solar panels so as to reduce the cost the Mexicans will have to contribute to the price of the wall. And only in America do his supporters cheer wildly for this idea.Geez only in America is having an ID white privilege.
Well, NK too. "All the Property that is necessary to a man, for the conservation of the individual and the propagation of the species, is his natural right, which none can justly deprive him of: But all property superfluous to such purposes is the property of the publick, who, by their laws, have created it, and who may therefore by other laws dispose of it, whenever the welfare of the publick shall demand such disposition. He that does not like civil society on these terms, let him retire and live among savages."

Have you ever spent any time in the military? It is absolutely a vehicle for retraining and reintegrating people who are at risk of falling out of the workforce.
It's hard for me to imagine anyone who has any actual military experience disputing that, but then again people often like to bullshit at cocktail parties.
Benjamin Franklin said this-

Your point?
You appealed to the authority of Madison. I did the same with Franklin, whose opinion was obviously different. You can't stand on the supposed moral high ground of "what the Founders intended" when they were of different minds.
