I don't know how anyone can pretend they aren't going to do this as they've been openly talking about going after birth control (they were actually looking at that as being how they would get to ban abortion because they didn't think they'd ever really get to overturn Roe v Wade, and so were looking for ways to effectively accomplish a ban without having to actually ban abortion - be ready for them to walk back their anti-abortion rhetoric if they get to choke out the ability to actually get an abortion that doesn't require surgery - which they'll restrict like crazy all so they can claim they didn't ban abortion when they really did; they already have massively restricted the "surgical" abortion ban - which Turmp and others I think have signaled they'll push nationally if they get power again).
They already have a plan for using the FDA to basically ban birth control by rescinding it being approved.
And just watch, they'll bring back the "legitimate rape" arguments (people forget that after that blew up, lots of other old white dudes basically said it was correct and the guy that said it was pissed off for stepping down over it and they've basically doubled down, they just realized how stupid they are to openly say such phrasing but that's how they justify banning abortion for even rape because to them if it was legitimate rape it wouldn't lead to pregnancy - don't be surprised if they try to even enshrine that argument legally).
