I beg to differ. A huge percentage of Hollywood is gay, especially those making animated kids' shows. If we suddenly had no gay people we'd have a drastic shortage of both regular adult shows and children's shows, which would eventually lead to us all watching Honey Boo Boo with our children. No society can withstand that. No species can withstand that.
