Private trackers is where it's at. Public trackers are loaded down with viruses now

Exactly... and if they bothered to look most ISPs are now outsourcing their newservers to giganews, UNS, NH etc. Free access via road runner to NH. Same retention and speeds.

Torrents are simply where its NOT at.

thats true but 90% of the stuff i pull off mininova was origionally on demonoid

no torrenst are where its at because they are infinitly easier to use then newsgroups
newsgroups will never be commonplace because of the learning curve, the normal person who downloads something wants to click and forget, which torrents allow

Client with DHT + torrent site = simple click and play
