$1 a pound sounds pretty lame. I wouldnt have taken that when I was kid, even in in the early 1980's when a dollar was heck of a lot more than it is today.

$1 per pound? Not too shabby. I eat lots and lots and lots of candy all year long. The best place to buy 16 oz bags of assorted goodness is at Dollar General. Yup, it costs $1 and they have a HUGE selection of dollar per pound goodness!!!
