go to hospital, tell them your in pain, and broke?Originally posted by: BentValve
I have a tooth that is giving me alot of pain and I do not have dental insurance. I know for certain which tooth it is but
Dentist are wanting an exam fee, xrays and then of course the tooth extraction fee. Frankly I just dont have the money to
get the job done.
What do you recommend to do the job? What sort of force does it take to pull the tooth? At this point the tooth is not loose...I
figure its going to need some side to side pushing to help first loosen it up.
I figure the worst that could happen is that I could crush all of the tooth and then have nothing to grab onto.
Please help!

Needle nose pliers
Its a wisdom tooth that did not require extraction when I was younger so its a little thick to use a needle nose. I do
have around 10 different styles of pliers though.. I have a few in mind that could grab the tooth ok.

dude, is there a dental school near you? a lot of universities are always looking for patients and they work cheap. a friend of mine always goes to the U of M for dental work and has been pleased with the results. I'd look into that 1st if i were you.

Your to funny, dumbass. Before the 70's midwives and home births were very common. Grow a sense of history and learn why medical costs are as high as they are we live in a nation of hypochondriacs who need a doctor whenever they get a splinter then sue cuz it hurts.. Call your mommy and ask her.
