Descramble Cable through video card?

Is there a video card that can descramble cable signals? I'm not talking about the illegal magic box kind, I'm talking about being able to watch the HBO I pay for through the video card. Right now it's scrambled of course. There has to be something that could descramble a signal since it's coming through the computer.

There was a software that claimed to be able to do it. I tried it but it didn't work (ATI AIW 128). Sorry but I lost the link to it.

Can you get another cable box? When we upgraded to digital cable, they let us have the old cable box so that we would be able to get some of the pay channels for a tv in another room.

Technically I could place the box between the wall and the computer, but it would not allow me to use the tuner for anything other than just a feed. I'd like to be able to change the channels, etc with the tuner as it was intended.

I figure it's got to be a software solution. Technically I'm sure it's possible. If there is anyone out there with that type of expertise, there is a huge market for it.

I have the software that claims to descramble the cable signal It's about 10MB if you want to try it. I don't have a cable input card to try this on. I got it just in case. So use it at your own risk if you want to.

The software I've tried doesn't really work, it produces black&white images with no sound. Even when my cable box is connected to the tv card some channels are still scrambled.

Most of the stuff we've run across during random surfing at work has been for the PAL format, and US TV's are in the NTSC format. I have heard of rumors of ones for Linux, but never seen them.
