Been playing the new 0.38 patch and I love the new toys (mainly grenade launcher and sub machine gun). Any exciting battles yet? BTW the new maps rock! I just love the DC harbor map.

I have been waiting for our local Columbus RR server to switch over to .38..... Hopefully they will have it switched over by the weekend. Meanwhile, I have been playing bots.

I don't like it, DC that is. But then again I don't like BF1942 either. The SW mod looks promising though. There's also Eve Of Destruction, which is a Vietnam mod.

I like the DC mod way better than vanilla BF. The maps are a nice change too.

Still, my complaint about it is that it's too slow whereas CS was a little too fast. Something in between would be great.

my clan has a good DC server, Desert C_Ghostsoldiers.org or ip is 157.238.143.147:14567. should be on .38 before too long. FF is always on and we dont put up with asshats (most of us have admin so we kick them when needed). always looking for good people to come play there, so drop by anytime! im =GS= Luckystrike in the game.

I think that DC is great! The helo's are a little hard to fly, but not bad with some practice. It's a nice change from the normal BF1942. Eve of Destruction looks pretty awesome also. Wonder if it will dampen the sales of the upcoming Battlefield: Vietnam.......
