I think I know why estamp has made this offer. I am not a techie so bear with me. I have been using estamp for about 1 year now. The original software had MANY problems with printers using bidirectional software. The "Vault: did not allow the bidirectional software to work. OK, I installed another printer port. Worked perfectly. They sent me the new software upgrade, i never installed it since everything worked, then I had problems. So I installed the new software and have not been able to print a stamp since. After calling CS they said the new software will not work on LPT 2. OK, I changed everything back to LPT1, still no stamps will print. Called again and it is an issue with my Officejet software.

So my guess is they "Know" this printer is compatible with their software.

I have used PCStamp, Stamps.com, Clickstamp and had a postage meter. I like Estamp the best. Once it is setup and running properly it is fast, and the address book is a nice feature.

I figured out that the black lines I was seeing on some photos was caused by printing from MGI PhotoSuite 3 but not some other programs. So, it's not the printer.

Does anyone know where I could get some quality glossy photo paper for cheap?? This stuff (HP Glossy Photo Paper) cost's up to 85 cents per sheet at CompUSA and Staples.

I think what they meant by that is that they can take the deal away at anytime. So people who didn't already sign up may sign up to different terms, or even the deal might no longer be available. What I DON'T think they mean by that is that they can have people buy their products and not give them their rebates because the program ended. I think it just applies to people who haven't gotten in on the offer yet.

Maybe someone can answer this question for me. I got the 930c printer last week and today I received the e-stamps. There was a packing slip with both but I couldn't find a receipt. Does Buy.com mail the receipt to you??

No, you must print receipt off web page when you order.

They only ship merchandise with a packing slip which does not include any prices, since then send off orders to third-party warehouses near your location.

Nope, no ink status monitor like my year old Epson 750.

By the way, the 930c's quality is just slightly better than my Stylus Photo 750 for photos. However, it adds too much contrast. Anyone else notice that?

my upc on the side of the printer was a label type upc code.

The buy.com packing slip lists the UPCs, but the receipt doesn't.

For e-stamps the UPC is: 6 64644 20202 4

For the HP930c printer it's: 0 25184 21485 2

There's no low-ink indicator on the printer except for the black ink cartridge, but the printer software can show the color ink levels.

There is an ink status monitor. It's just not displayed while printing as on Epson's Print Monitor. It is accessed through HP's Toolbox in your Program group (Start/Programs/HP DeskJet Series/HP DeskJet Series Toolbox)
