The CD that came with the 930C shows Windows 3.1x, 95, 98, and NT 4.0 and various Mac OS's, but no Win2K. Try their website... Good luck.

One funny thing though. My e-stamp box has a CompUSA sticker on it.
Are they buying these from CompUSA to replenish their warehouse supply?
Mine came from Florida. Ver. 1.0
But anyway what a stupid question though.

Also Can the dongle thing still work when the printer is connected to the USB? Or does the printer have to be connected to the printer port?

Dongle should work fine with the USB. All it does is communicate w/ your computer via your parallel port.

Win2000 drivers are at the HP web site.

The latest version of the rebate form http://www.e-stamp.com/retail/buy/rebate.htm says the rebate request must be postmarked by 7/15. The 930C is currently backordered at Buy.com

Just got mine yesterday. Hooked up the printer and printed a test page. I am really impressed with the quality of this printer. Will go well with my $150 Olympus 340R (thanks ValueAmerica). And my BuyerZone Flooz came today, so that paid for my USB cable.

Lore, so you ordered on Sunday? Go to UPS Tracking by Reference Number. Punch in your Buy.com order number, your zip code and select United States for country and see what happens. Note the weight of the package(s).

Don't worry about the postmark, just use you new estamp software to print the needed rebate envelope now and it will show the current date as your postmark....

Does anyone know how the 930c stacks up against a Epson 800 Stylus Color? I have the epson now and am debating weather to sell that or sell the HP. I know for sure one thing though, the HP print cartridges cost about 3-4 times as much as an epson. Any thoughts??

Who's got the electronic vault in that plugs into the parallel port?

I don't have mine yet, but I can I still print stamps if I use a USB connection to print? I'll just leave the electronic vault in place but not attach the computer to it.

Well, got the e-stamp software today but the printer still said &quot;sent to warehouse&quot;. So I called buy.com and the CSR said it was on backorder. She said they would be getting a new shipment in about a week, and mine would ship out then. I asked her if I would definately get the printer by 7/15, and she said yes. Of course, we all know how much a CSR's promise is worth. Anyways, that's an update from someone who ordered the printer/software on Sat.

Well, just logged into the account to check the status; the software shipped but the printer is still SENT TO WAREHOUSE. If I don't get the printer in time I will be yelling at Buy.com's large ear. Guess it is indeed backordered.
