It's uglier in real life. When it's 90+ degrees in my place, it works better than nothing. The fan is very quiet and it can be powered w/a generic multi-voltage/multi-connector AC adapter (not included). It takes batteries, but I already had the adapter... so no need to waste any more $ on it.
I paid $5 -- and that's what I'd say it's worth.

1. Fill a glass bowl with ice from your freezer
2. Put a little fan behind it
3. Turn the fan on

Haha, very true. I usually use just a fan, which is fine for me since it doesn't get very hot here (under 100 usually).

you get a nice big fan and an ice tea maker to cool you off for the price of this thing. And for the amount to ship to your home you can buy 2-3 half gallon ice cream to call it a day.

One would think by opening the refigerator door would make the room colder, but thats not the case. It makes the air outisde even warmer.
