It really bothers me that no articles on BBC's website give the names of the author. I can't seem to find any other news sources reporting this, wonder if it's true.

It says "During a nine month investigation". If it was that hard to come up with, i doubt anybody would have the story. But the BBC doesn't lie.

Like the disinformation provided by CNN, NBC, CBS, FOX News on a regular basis?

I hope that has you chuckling too.

If this is true, and I'm inclined to think it is considering the effort put forth to uncover this, then this should be enough to topple every single drug company involved, the ACS, and the entire New York City government starting at the top.

What's more everyone responsible, even remotely, should be tried for "crimes against humanity" and should spend a minimum of 25 years in prison.

All assets of all companies and individuals involved should be seized immediately everywhere where they exist, including subsidiaries.

All assets should be sold, put into a trust fund, and equally distributed to the children involved, then have the government setup a board that will monitor the kids until they are adults to ensure they are well cared for by parents willing to adopt them and to ensure their money isn't squandered by anyone.

Yes, because I'm such a strong advocate of those news agencies.... not for any reason in particular, simply because when I want to question reporting of a news agency that hides the name of its reporters, people like you should be aloud to tell me other agencies misinform people as well.

Yes I do. Because they do and people like you conveniently forget this fact when it doesn't suit you.

Pardon me, but i'm the one questioning the legitimacy of this report and you have the nerve to tell me I forget the fact that news agencies mistort truths?

Wtf are you smoking?

Yeah I do have the nerve to tell you to not forget that US news agencies tend to provide false or missleading information. What do you expect when you attack the BBC? I would have commented the same to anyone else. I'm not singling you out.

Not only is Chris Bored, ChrisisBored is also ChrisisNotVeryBright.

By that I suppose we can conclude the information was obtained by someone on this list. Just a guess still, thanks for making that clear for me though.

Also, just to confirm ChrisIsNotVeryBright, I had no problem getting more information. Perhaps he should learn how to use a search engine.

As to why it is not being reported, or at least commented upon, by the US media, I would think anyone with any capability for rational thought would be able to figure that one out.

Seriously, do you like me? Is there a reason you feel a need to single me out?

I simply stated I haven't found any additional evidense backing this up (ie. someone point me to more). It's helpful that you're able to search out something. Please quote my text where I stated since there's no more evidense this must be untrue. I'm simply unsure of the relevance of the article. I didn't state where I did my searching, your assumptions are asinine; similar to your attitude.

Here's another example of human experiments conducted in our free democratic society.

Human Radiation Experiments

I find BBC, NPR, and the DOE to be reliable sources on this subject.

Rather than attacking the messengers I prefer to question authority.

I can't recall any nation that can easily claim that they are and always have been on the moral high ground. Such claims are total BS.

All a nation can do is learn from history and keep its own and others mistakes heavily documented make it a requirement in both high school, college, and University to learn it.

Sadly history lessons are a joke in this country (Canada) and I'm sure the same is true for most if not all other nations.

As the saying goes; "We learn from history, that we learn nothing from history."

Due to revisionists who focus on happy talk and the good old days that never were. Human history is replete with stories of inhumanity. If we were to measure the good vs the evil and were judged on the outcome we'd all end up in whatever netherworld our religions dream up for us.

To remain focused on the good and refuse to recognize the evil perpetuates the evil we all endure at the hands of those who claim to do good.

Think about this:

Guardian UK headline:

"NYC Denies Orphans Only Hope"
The Guardian has learned the children in the custody of NYC authorities denied medication to wards of the state. "These children face certain death. Today's medications are not going to be effective forever" says Florence Nightingale, a nurse specializing the treatment of AIDS. "These drugs may pose a risk, but we are in the last phase of clinical trials. We know what the toxicity profiles are in animals and healthy adult volunteers. Hopefully these medications would improve both the quality and length of these children, however unless the government relents, they will never have the opportunity"

City officials cite Anandtech protesters who raised questions about motivations.

Says Charlie Hacker, representative for Computer Users for Equitable Drug Testing, "These medications pose risk for children. They may have harmful side effects". When asked about alternatives, Mr. Hacker replied "Look, we all know this is about Big Pharma pushing it's agenda on the helpless. This isn't the USSR you know".

Ms. Nightingale replies "What do computer forum users know about clinical trials? Would they rather have their child not try a medication knowing the alternative is certain death?"

Dumbest reply of the day award?

I can't even begin to fathom what brought this moronic comment to this thread.

The BBC is highly respected? By whom?

Guess you've never heard of the Hutton Commision.
