I launched 5 minutes before 1 PM and it let me into the game

My buddy is unable to get past the character creation

Only had to wait about 5 minutes. So far it's been far better than I would have guessed.

I had one D/C that made me restart the game about 20 minutes in, haven't had any issues since in about 3 hours of solid play time.

Level 8 currently.

If anyone's interested in strikes and farming public events after the endgame, we should make a PC-only group.

EDIT: Mine's not doing much... downloaded about 150MB and now it's stuck on "Finalizing"

Could probably just change this one from the beta to retail release... seeing as though the beta is no longer available or supported.

My word does this thing look and feel great on PC, very happy. Also got native ultrawide support--even the pre-rendered cut scenes.

Something like going to edit then advance edit and you have an option to change title.

its actually under thread tools, you dont even have to go into the edit window to do it

Hit level 20, only light level 202 though. Still more grind before 300.

Was anyone else constantly getting booted off?

fastest way to level is to finish story do adventures and grind the living f out of public events
you should be 220 ish when you hit level 20, getting to 265 just takes hours after that, hours and hours of pub events/strikes/PVP pub events is the fastest by far,
save the exotic quests till 265 or so,m they will drop 9 levels higher than your current level
nightfall should be dooable once you hit 260
save the "milestone" turnins till 265
leveling a 2nd/3rd toon will also help (not same class) as you can feed them the weps you already have and give them a massive boost. also you can repeat the exoptic quests

What graphical settings are you guys using? I'm running highest textures and character detail, medium shadows, medium foliage, high light shafts, low DoF. @1440p with smaa + 1.25x supersampling (essentially 1800p). Running anywhere between 75 and 120fps.

Everything on at least high w/ motion blur off, using FXAA I think, Haven't seen a drop below 100fps yet.

Started playing last night! Had a good time. Plays exceptionally well on my system at 4K, with a 4790k and rx480. Everything maxed and it plays great!

played for a few hours last night... basically just story missions, a few public events and lost sectors. game is soooo good on PC; I only saw a few of weird issues:

couldn't complete the "Bringing them Home" adventure, second beacon would not activate inside the ring; I had to quit the activity. the same area (outskirts next to trost) there was this super bizarre geometry clipping that was visible for about a second and then it disappeared. there were also some artifacts during the salt mine mission to meet Hawthorne up top, something to do with the reflections but it's more likely the driver and not the game.

everything else works pretty well though, menus are easy to nav and the controls are crisp and responsive. the mouse aim walks all over the gamepad control.

What resolution?

1440, saw 90 today during a public event, the one on titan with the two tanks.
