Question, I know blizzard recently released the ability to gift hearthstone cards to people, but can you gift an entire game, for example destiny 2 to someone? If so, the first person who gifts it to me is going to get a discount on my 8700k thats for sale haha. I really want this game but the wife won't let me grab it until some of the parts sold. Considering how much I spent on pc parts in the last week, it's completely understandable. Game looks amazing and right up my alley, I can't wait to get my hands on it.

This is the clan I'm in atm. They seem relatively active. Willing to farm strikes, pub events, crucible, and have plans for raiding. So far seems like a decent bunch of people. Semi active discord. Haven't had to mute anyone on discord yet, that's always a plus.
I'm doing a much better job of managing inventory but my level is just creeping up, slower than I'd like but getting there. I've been doing as much as possible, blending strikes, public events, patrols, and general exploring. So far it's working out and I've scored some nice stuff... got a clan invite the other day but I'm not sure I want to commit just yet. I know they expire but I have minimal time to play during the week. Also kind of the lone wolf type...
Does anybody else see this game as something that is going to fall off very quickly at the high end (interest wise)? I mean, gameplay-wise, what is the motivation to raise my number (power level) from 250 (where I am now) to 300 or so? Are there any gameplay differences? I suppose you are more capable of completing raids and/or nightfalls, which will reward you with gear that raises that number higher? Just seems kinda pointless. I wish there were more abilities or other similar things that you could unlock that have actual gameplay changes.

LololllIt's a game... so, you basically play for fun until you don't find it fun anymore?
Welcome to gaming.

I don't need the game to last me 200 hours so I'm good with most of the changes they've made. I am surprised however at how lazy they were with the enemies. Almost all of them are exactly the same as the last game. Shooting fools is what you're doing 90% of the time, shake it up a bit for pete's sake.
I guess thats the whole point in it.
So you can get geared and dominate in PVP because of gear advantages.
However i dont and never liked PVP which had those in regards.
I feel PVP should always be balanced and should not be gear dependant.
If someone has Weapon X, everyone should also be allowed Weapon X, so i am rarely in PVP to begin with.
Also the last couple PVP matches i have been in were not fun at all.
It was against organized CLAN's and basically we were like chicken let out of the hen house and allowed to be feasted upon wolves.
Well i think match making will get better soon, however meh... i'll just stay with the pve aspects to it until i get my 305 gear and then quietly retire the game out for something new.
But as of this moment, the only real shooters i have to play are Destiny 2 and Mass Effect Adromeda, which i am honestly quite burnt out on.
So until i get a better shooter which is not from ubisoft, i guess i'll stay with that grind.
