My 3dMark 2001 score jumped from 5418 to 6642 (no OC). I got an 13 fps average BOOST in the Nature scene from 21 to 34.

I'm running on Athlon 1.33, DDR memory, Visiontek GF3.

I got an increase of a whopping 13 3DMarks!! Whooee!
This was done using my old Elsa GTS on a P3-1000/512MB ram. 2954 before(with 12.90), 2967 after. Dammit, I was hoping to break that stinkin 3000. Oh well, time to try with my Elsa GF3 now.

Just ran Nascar 4 at 1600x1200 32 bpp with max details (specular highlights disabled) with 42 cars in front at Daytona running at 36-38 fps before the green flag (12.41- FPS was 26-30). The highest I got was 70 fps when running at the front. Running on VT GF3.

6437 after + a bit of tweaking, but nothing over clocked

Both these are with Windows XP build 2600 Final

System is an Asus v8200, !.3 ghx amd, 512 mb pc2100 ram, 2 * ibm 75gb raid 0 hdd's etc ...

I have a full lsit of all the runs of 3dmark 2k1 that i have ever done and what changes made the differences, mail me if you want details ....

richleader, I think you can do better with your system. I have Via133A with PIII933 on a Radeon 32megger hitting almost 3000.

Has anyone tried the new dets on Quake 3, my scored got knocked in half HQ - 136.8 before (14.70), and now 63.7 (21.80) ...WTF is going on, no FSAA is on, no filtering...?!?!?! ...i have a t-bird 1400 and gainward gf3

turn off V-sync again... and overclock your card again.. um.. set up the NV refresh fix.. it resets all of that!

My 3dmark2001 has gone back about 400 points need to see what the hell is going on here. most people are reporting an increase

Thanks Yata, but even with an overclocked card, I'm not going too far. I have crap ram in my system so I have to go easy on a lot of settings. I can punch up the cas rate and such and go up a whole lot of points, but during very strenuous games I end up crashing. (Although it's only Giants, Flight Sims, and Project IGI , which uses a f-sim engine, which manage to lock me up). I'll go with stability until my Nforce/Athlon 4 comes in.

wow, i love these det 4's b4 5468 now 6678 w00t!! over 1000 better!! on a t-bird 1.4, 8k7a+, gainward gf3, non-o/c, 512 ddr...off to gaming i go...

I guess these Det 4 mostly give major performance boosts to people with GF3's. There is little to no performance boost on my Geforce 2 gts.
