I wouldn't call it one of the greatest games ever. The engine is so out of date. The game play isn't all that great either. I only like it because it's different from what i have been playing and I was looking for something to play on my computer other than q3a, half-life, or UT. Not bad for 25 bucks though i guess.

UM.. You play UT and Half life. If Deux Ex is out of date then UT can Half life are certainly out of date. What are you talking about?

My only problem is CD related. Need 72x

Anyone know if Electronics Boutique pricematches CompUSA? I bought it yesterday but wouldn't mind getting $15 back.

Runs nice and smooth at 1024x768 on my V3 3000 (@183Mhz).

Nice game, lotsa fun so far, probably better than SS2.

What engine does this use? I've heard whispers that it uses the Unreal engine. If true, that would explain the better performance with the 3dfx based cards.

This game is similar enough to System Shock 2 that Deus Ex could be called a sequel if you want to stretch it that far.

The interface and skill-building options are quite similar, and so are many of the tactics (i.e. choose between blowing the crap outta everything, breaking into computers, or sneaking around..)

I played the Deus Ex demo and liked it, so I think I'll buy this game..
