"Like in Human Revolution, Mankind Divided's world is one grounded in the scientific advancements and technology currently being developed in laboratories around the world. Eidos Montreal has again consulted with renowned bioinformatics and neuroscience researcher Will Rosellini to make sure that the technology in the game is as realistic is possible. But this time around in the story, those with mechanical and electrical augmentations ("mech-augs") are no long the envy of society. Mmmm more Deus Ex. Definitely looks more shooter-esque by that vid; somewhat mixed about that but I'm still excited to see how it turns out.

Hopefully a lot of that stuff that usually gets overdone (camera shake, head bob, overly blurred DOF, etc) will have sliders to tone it back. And maybe fully configurable options for GFX to disable a lot of the post-processing cr*p (chromatic aberration, vignetting, etc). I also hope they really put an effort into the PC controls. 1-0 & F1-12 keyboard shortcuts for direct weapon / aug access + decent HUD so we don't have to see those silly consoley "weapon wheels" when playing with K&M. Other than that, it's looking pretty good so far.

From what I remember,

you only die if you choose to cover up the entire conspiracy by blowing up Panchaea.

So I think it could be any of the other 3 endings.

Ah, didn't watch the trailer, just some of the gameplay.

Pretty dumb decision if you ask me though; Adam should be dead, and we should be playing a new protagonist living in the social aftermath of that choice, oblivious to Adams inside knowledge of the previous games plot. Or go with one of the other endings if they are so attached to Adam, though I have no idea why they would be. Of course the story in the first game was pretty bad, so I guess I'm not surprised they would essentially just retcon Adams survival, completely undercutting what now seems to be the canon ending.

Oh well, I wasn't very interested in this sequel to begin with, and this makes it even less interesting to me. To be honest, I don't think I'd have even played the first game if you couldn't turn off the health regen from the dev menu, and there is no way that's going to be available.
