Deus Ex- Worth the buy?

I want to waste my time doing something over winter vacation. Should I buy Deux Ex? I've been playing counterStrike 24/7 up in college, but I won't have DSL when I go home, so I need to find a good single-player game. Does anybody have a copy (legit copy, full game) that they want to sell me? PM me! thx!

Im not going to sell you my copy, but its definately worth the buy and its only 30 bucks most places around.

i've only played the demo. and i'm considering adding another 128mb stick to the existing 128mb ram, just for when i get the game.

It was a pretty good game. It took me about 7 weeks of off-and-on play to finish. Well worth the $30 I paid.

Deus Ex is fantastic! No question it was worth my $30. A lot of times I buy games and kinda regret it, but Deus Ex rules. It is a long game, I'd say you pay less than a dollar per hour of game time. $1/hr for entertainment is cheap...been to a movie lately

if you liked system shock 2 you will go nuts over this gave. i have been a hard core gamer for 10+ years. Absolutely one of the best games ever. buy a copy and support Mr. Spector so they give him some more $$ for another game. Once you play the game you will agree that he deserves it.

Give hime the $30 offering. It is well worth it.

anyone have a laggy mouse when they play this game? i have a microsoft intellimouse explorer.....i cant get it to be normal....

Like I said in your other thread your mouse is not laggy it's just your framerate that is low.

I played the game I think is ok get it if you wish but I think it would be asome to see a multiplayer support in the game!

I would've liked it more had the performance been ok.. u'd think a PIII at almost 1000 MHz and a GF2 GTS would get *OK* framerates at 1024x768.. not a chance. choppy as hell. SAD performance, oh well that's the only downfault.. and the fact i find it too hard.
i left my game of Q3, installed and played deus ex and went back to Q3 never to play Deus Ex again, U see when u get a game u love so much like Quake III Arena u don't even care about other games.

Deus Ex is kind of RPG-ish in that you have skills... but it's FPS view. I think it's worth the buy (if you look around you might find it for $20. I saw it for that price at Fry's). You need a 3d card to play it, but it has some good gameplay there.

Like I said it's awesome get it. The multiplayer patch is out and it's pretty good. You get to choose your augs and stuff it's diferent from normal deathmatch.
