Thanx for the update/stats bunker. I just re-installed the DF client yesterday, it was still folding with the old client, and wouldn't upload.

Geeeze, that's nearly a million down from yesterday......

I gotta admit, I'm not able to find the entheusiasm for DF that I once could. I keep hoping that the science of this PhaseII is tons better, because the satisfaction as a participant certainly isn't what it used to be. It's hard on me to watch a DC client spend 95% of it's time spinning it's wheels doing nothing but repeating a message about being in a tight spot and using 20% of my CPU (CSRSS.exe) to do so.

I have lots of RAM, so the excessive commit isn't a problem for me, but I know that is a big issue for some users as well.

Even Howard seems to have only a lackluster interest in keeping this thing going. His posts are getting pretty few and far between at F-DC.

I'm tending to agree with you sid.

After I hit a million, I'm taking another machine off and switching to F@H.

You know you can get rid of that CSRSS.exe usage by running in quiet mode don't ya? I forgot the switch for it though.

yeah, I run a service install so it doesn't go active at all.... I just read about it frequently as users complain.
