I'm curious about this board as well. I am thinking about picking one up. I plan to be pairing it up with an Intel C2D E8400. I understand I will more than likely need to flash the BIOS, but that is of no issue to me at all. That's standard procedure for me.

I am thinking about this board because of Intel's stable P35 chipset teamed up with DFI's expansive BIOS and great board layout. I have no need for Crossfire or SLI, so one PCI-E lane is perfect for me. A single 3870 is all I need.

Are there any DFI DK P35-T2RS users out there that can solidify this board as a good choice?

i've had mine for about 2 months now, rock stable and no hiccups. overclocks well and with ease, using ballistix tracers (older, double sided ones) in mine with no issues.

any decent brand ram should be good enough, i haven't read anything bad other than avoid current crucial ballistix since they are now single sided sticks now. i would go with g.skill instead.

the DK P35 ships with bios support of 45nm cpus out the box so no need to flash or use a older cpu to POST.

i will push my e2160 further after i get watercooling, hopefully before the start of summer.

Nice build.

Those redlines should do 1:1 @ 500FSB easily.

Just keep CPU VTT low (I run @ the stock 1.10)v, and you don't need to throw tons of volts @ the NorthBridge really, as evidenced by my clock @ 1.33v.

It will boot windows at this voltage on the NB up to 530FSB, but my CPU doesn't have it, unless I POUR on the voltage. Which isn't the wisest idea on the 45nm.

Play with the GTL settings.

I use 63% on both CPU GTL's, 67% (stock) on the NB GTL.

I just put a e7200/T2RS/2x2GB Corsair XMS2 system together. I'll see how far I can push it in the next couple days.
