DFI LAN NF4 Ultra D and memory

I finally Decided not to go Sli and get a DFI LAN NF4 Ultra D and a Opty 148 with 2x1gig of ram and I'm going to overclock it. I was thinking of getting the Corsair value ram DDR 400 (Pc 3200) 2x1gig will this work for this board??? I'm also getting a X1800Xt Video card and gonna overclock it as well. The cooling will be a Arctic cooling Freezer 64 for the processor and a Zalman VF700 for the Video card. And the Hard drive is gonna be a WD 250 gig 16mb cache. I also like the Lian Li pc-65b aluminum Black with sidewindow case and I have a Seasonic S12 600 watt PS to go in it. Sound will be a Creative X-FI platinum soundcard. I also am getting a Sony Black DVD burner Model DW-Q30A. So will the memory work well with this setup??? Or do You see anything that wont work well together??

Don't see any incompatibilities, apart from the RAM... The DFI doesn't seem to like Corsair (some people did manage to get it to work), so it'd be better to pick OCZ... Head over to DFIstreet.com... Those people know all about it...

my ultra-d loves the patriot mem that i bought now running at 2-2-2-5 at 2.9v. you may also look into mushkin redline mushkin special ecause i know some people who are satisifed with that memory (but different mobos).

Turu, your system looks fine.... as a matter of fact, your selected componenets seem to be above "par". Which brings me to this point... why VALUE ram???? If you purchased a Dodge Viper would you be using "regular" unleaded in it or do you think Premium gas is what you'd be putting in it?

DFI seems to have issues with Corsair memory.... although some people have been able to get their systems to run perfectly fine with it. DFI also has issues with VALUE ram, although some have gotten their systems to work as well... but mixing a known problematic brand along with the VALUE class is asking for problems.

I am using Corsair value memory on the SLI version of this board and it works well. These memory sticks basically use a variety of different chips, some of which work with the DFI boards and others that don't, but there is usually no way to tell what your sticks have on them. The G.Skill or OCZ value packs on Newegg for the same price are probably a better bet.

You can always use a divider to make it so. Pushing it over PC3200 speed is never a given.

Most modern motherboard BIOS lets you run the RAM at a fraction of the CPU bus speed, in case it can't keep up with the CPU's overclock.
