Yep, a bit of news. Its going back for a refund!
First off the board hangs during post when I have 4GB of memory in it. Even if I hit the DEL key to get into the BIOS the system hangs and displays wierd characters all over the screen. Yet if I take 2 GB out of the system it works fine. Yes I updated the bios too and tried. It just hangs during post. Second, the biggest problem I have with this board is the false advertising. The manual states that BOTH PCIE slots run at 16x in SINGLE MODE. To me that means I should be able to run both my eVGA 7800GT video cards at the same time giving me 4 monitor output. No go. I have all the drivers installed and there are no conflicts in system properties with the second video card, yet display manager only shows the first video card. I can't get the second video card to light up during a cold boot if I take both my monitors and plug one into each. I even switched the video cards around in the PC and I get the same result.
So i'm right now righting up the RMA. I gave up a SLi board for this. Should have kept my damn money. Now i have to pay a restocking fee and pick a new motherboard as I got rid of the old one.
