Upping your vcore and then setting it back to default later on won't matter, you won't permanently damage anything... your temps will go back to what they were.... just don't go above 1.8 volts (or whatever you're comfortable with, most say don't go over 1.8 on air)
What I would do next is raise your FSB by a few mhz at a time, it all depends on what your comfortable running your vcore at, you seem to want close to stock right?
no i'm wanting to at least do some bench marks maxxed out on air cooling....... I will prob return closer to stock for actual usage... maybe even completely stock, i dont need the extra speed all the time...
It'd be great if you could "save" bios configs, and have it prompt you when you boot as to if you want to run "Normal" or "performance" or maybe even 3-4 settings... all custom set by the user..
ceramique... temps with voltage upped to 1.675 and 15 hours of stable prime 95 so far have DROPPED... I am seeing 35C now... and 26-27C in the case.... I'm starting to wonder WTF is wrong with my barton!! MAKE MORE HEAT!!!
