Good to hear, but I'm ready now!

Graphzilla's 680i is supposedly coming next Wednesday. Which one is better, Gary? Will DFI have an nVidia too that'll compete with the RD600? Will they both squash the 965 and 975?

Nforce 680i is a great overclocker
1200 MHz+ memory
By Fuad Abazovic: Thursday 02 November 2006, 09:47
WE WANTED to know which is the best overclocking platform for Intel's Core 2 Duo and some people who are really into it said we should maybe wait for the Nforce 680i motherboards.
They should be the fastest for both memory and CPU overclocking and the boards should emerge in the following days.
We know these will end up faster than both Intel's high-end chipset 975X and the P965 although we know it will have a rough ride to beat RD600 from DAAMIT.
It supports three PCIe slots, two for graphic cards and one for physics, I guess they saw this one from ATI. We know that the memory can hit 1200MHz if not even higher. The boards based on it should be announced on the 8th, together with the new Geforce thingummy. µ

We will have a shoot out between the RD600, 680i, and BadAxe2 before the end of the month. RD600 is looking very solid at this point and is nearing release now. DFI has gone to great lengths on getting the board and more importantly the BIOS right. Until we have the final BIOS and NDA release I cannot talk about the performance of either board. I really wish I could as these P965 boards are starting to all look the same to me.

its funny how the ATI chipset was announced way back and yet Nvidia beat them to market. ATI is catching the AMD syndrome.

Not to sidetrack this thread, but, when you're at DFI, can you find out when they have plans to release their ATI RD690 board?
