I'm suffering from random crashes in which my computer reboots itself -- I even tried reformatting and reinstalling everything to no avail. I just now checked the Windows event viewer and noticed that there was a corresponding "DHCP Error" at the time of every crash. It gives the following description:
The IP address lease 150.243.178.241 for the Network Card with network address 00045A507923 has been denied by the DHCP server 192.168.1.1 (The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message).
I looked around for info on DHCP errors, but didn't really find anything. Is there any way to fix the problem I'm experiencing? Or is it possible that the error I'm getting is simply a result of some other problem? I'm running Windows 2000 SP2 with a standard LinkSys ethernet card; I connect through a college multi-T1 ethernet.
