Diablo II crappiness

I've finally managed to get it to install without crashing. I installed the 1.02 patch and the graphics still look like crap. TNT2 video card with SB Live sound card. I have the newest liveware drivers also.

Where are the 5.30 Detonators for win2k? I've scoured the net and all I find are broken links.

You're better off than me. I have it on 3 computers, and I can only get ONE of them to work w/ the 1.02 patch. I had to uninstall and re-install to 1.01 so they would all work. For as much freaking money as they've make on their games, Blizzard REALLY should be able to get their act together better than this.

Oh, I have another machine with a Matrox G400 and it will install fine. When I click the executable, the CD and harddrive have activity, but the game never starts. I think I'm going to get my money back on this piece of crap.

i am sympathetic dude. I got it going, but its laggy, slow and keeps kicking me off battlenet. Worst of all its basically just Diablo again with better graphics ( argueably). You still have to rearrange your inventory like in D1 too.
I play it because i can play with friends in England and Australia, otherwise it would have been returned days ago
