As far as I can tell by their comments, it still looks like Diablo coming to consoles(maybe). Now, they most likely will alter the game to work on a gamepad, and might not call it Diablo 3, but for all intents and purposes it will be the same game.

It could end up Diablo-esque similar to how StarCraft: Ghost would've been to the StarCraft universe.

It's Diablo,there is nothing to dumb down.Games dont get much simpler than Diablo. I hope it does come to 360.I hate using a mouse for these types of games.

Playing D2 with a gamepad would have been atrocious. In fact, it would have been so bad that I have suspicions you didn't even play D2 if you "hate using a mouse for these types of games".

And yes, you can dumb down Diablo. They already made it so that stats are auto allocated (i.e. dumbing down the stat system to the point where you don't get to choose anything), inventory is dumbed down, etc. There are a lot of changes that make D3 simpler and easier. I hope if they bring it to consoles these changes don't increase.
