This is NOT Win CE.. It is a PSION clone.. Those been around way before palm and Win CE..

WinCE? No, no no... it's EPOC, its like the UNIX of the PDA world. stays charged nice and long, easy to type on, lotta free downloadable programs if you look in the right places, and the stuff that's already on it is nice. If you feel like getting the IR modem too, that thing could easily double the usefulness for when away from home.

Hi. TigerDirect is selling Refurb Mako's, and they are on backorder. TigerDirect can be a horrible company, so I would be loathe to deal with them if something were wrong with it, with the crappy refurb warranty and restock fees, etc....

Both J&R, and ALL my local Staples are sold out at $149; Anybody know of any Reputable online (or otherwise) merchant that has similar(low) prices, so I can go the pricematch route?

I called about 2 hours ago and the told me that they will have them on the 22nd of this month and they are new. I asked them would happen if I returned them unopened. They said that they would not charge me a restocking fee. Now let?s hope that they are not lying to me.

( Normally they only match if in stock. [cough cough]..) Staples pricematched at $99.99: They added $7 (the equiv of nonverifiable S&H, so it subtotaled to 106.99: Then I applied a $25 off $100 code. Voila, A Brand New Psion Revo Plus (aka Diamond Mako) for !! $81.99 !! + tax: Factory Sealed Box, New Warranty, and Staples 14 day return policy.
Somebody lost a lot of money on this deal, and it don't feel like me. Time to join (and quit lurking) the Psion forums, hope mine doesnt have battery issues, etc...

Been chasing this deal for a couple days: heres some findings for those still interested: Staples.com, and Staples Direct (The 800 # phone orders) do NOT recognize this product. And they wont even match there own B&M selling price at $149.95 ! (in case you wanted to apply the $30 off $150 coupon) They only list it as a special order product, # : IM1210235 for $321!! The B&M Staples part # on this item is: #447140, but it seems to be selling out very quickly.

Called tiger direct around 10 p.m. on sunday night, they have those makos on back order for 2 weeks, was talled where are 500 people in front of me, and they have 1500 on order. the guy upgrated shipping to second day for me. regular price on those he said, is 120 or so. also, acording to him, they are brand spanking new, and carry 1 yr warranty.
