Hey you guys, I figured out another way to get 7% off your orders at mobshop, but it may require a little bit of 'work.' I found out that affiliate orders get 7% commission. So if you set up a website, a simply one and apply for the affiliate program (it takes less than an hour. I think they just automatically check your website for profanity and stuff like that) and then order from your own site, you get 7% back! They pay 4 times a year and you need to be over $50, so you might want to have your friends buy from your referral link or just be sure to buy other products from them. So a Diamond Rio for about $8.00 . . that's a deal!

Wouldn't the affliate site affect the pointclick rebate? I suspect you're already doing that via pointclick. The referral credit can't go to two places.

Magister- you're right. Didn't think about that. Thanks for clearing it up. But then, the last two times I ordered through pointclick, I didn't click from their site (I didn't know you had to) and I still got my credit. Hmm . . . oh well. $15 is good too.

If you don't want to do the affiliate prog which is a big hassle/prolly never get cash or do Pointclick (which has really poor service), you can go through FreeRide and get $0.02 per dollar... it's not much but its' something

Actually, their affiliate program is pretty good when it comes to sending out checks. Mobshop uses the same affiliate program as Mercata <the reporting.net bfast whatever you call it>, and I've received two checks from Mercata. One of them was under $50 and they still sent it to me!

On the Diamond rebate, all that matters is that you have different shipping address, not use a different CC. I only have one Visa. I would like to buy 2 rios, I already have one. Should I have them ship to a trusted friend's address and have them also ship rebate there? Sounds like a solid plan to me... any holes?
