Picked up a new Sig Combat, and switched out the sand color grips for some black ones I had laying around. It came with an 8 round magazine and a 10 round magazine. I paired it with my Gemtech supressor (my H&K USP Tactical was insanely jealous .) I think it's pretty hot. Here's a picture!

I also picked up a Sig 556 assault rifle, because I've been wanting one for a while. It's bone stock, collapsable stock, came with ONE sig magazine. I need an optic for it, since it has no iron sights. Trying to decide if I just want another eotech (I have 6) or if I finally want to spring for a Trijicon ACOG.

Anyway, got both guns at the same shop for ~$2500. I talked them into giving me a free Sigarms Polar fleece.

Bullocks. Can someone move this thread to OT? It doesn't belong in P&N, and I don't want the response I'll get here!

It needs an extended magazine for a measly 10 rounds? What are they, .45?

Was confused at first, then I realized 220 combat. I think you should spring for the triji. You already have eotechs, might as well get something to compare them too.

IMO because of its relative bulkiness and weight compared to the AR platform, I'd opt for an ACOG and turn it into a DMR of sorts. They are accurate rifles and it should serve you well.

Nice!

wikipedia

"In the United States, it is legal in thirty-five of the fifty states for an individual to possess and use a suppressor; however, one must go through the National Firearms Act process administered by the ATF. Such transfers also require a Federal tax payment of US $200 and a thorough background check. Since suppressors are inexpensive to build, with models retailing in other countries for under US $40[3], the licensing and transfer tax restrictions result in suppressors being very expensive in the U.S., with similar models selling for US$400[4] not including transfer fees. Several states and municipalities explicitly ban any civilian possession of suppressors.

Yeah, I live in the United States of America. A (mostly) free country. The hoops you have to go through to buy a SAFETY device like a suppressor is ridiculous. It's like the federal government WANTS noise pollution and hearing loss.

I have one of the outback II supressors for both my 10/22 rifle and my walther p22 handgun.

I also have a Gem-Tech blackside in .40 and .45 for use on both of my HK USP tactical's.

I am saving for a Gem-tech halo for use on my AR's right now. The local class 3 dealer has one in stock that I have been eyeballing for a while now.

I use an SWR Warlock for my P22.

And I have a Gemtech halo on an ar, just because I got it for a couple hundred bucks. I've never been a big fan of AR suppressors, because they're just not that useful. I'd like a nice AR in .300 Whisper with a suppressor. I saw on on AR15 EE a couple weeks ago, but they wanted too much for it.
