Did anyone back the Equiso Android on a stick? Edit-Got mine

I got my email saying it was being shipped, cant wait to try this. I bought it for XMBC and streaming video on my tv, if it does that well I will sell my jailbroke Apple TV 2

Looks interesting, though I don't think I'd really have any use for it. I was curious about how it got power, if MHL was more common that'd be a pretty slick package. Unfortunately it's still pretty hard to find.

You do not have to have an mhl tv to use this, just and hdmi port

It also needs USB for power as well or a USB to power adapter/cable. If I remember correctly it uses MicroUSB so you should be able to use a smartphone charger that is microUSB as well.

First impressions on ks are not good, I am hoping it is hyperbole and stuff an update can fix. Some people are saying the cpu is a low speed than they said, down from 1ghz to 800 mhz

What issues are you having with it? I've seen a bit of posts on Facebook & Twitter with people talking about different issues as well.

This might be a dumb question but did you plug in the USB Dongle into the USB port on the Equiso and there is a button on the Equiso as well, not too sure what it's for, but maybe it's for pairing with the remote?

That was the issue. I recorded a video but it will probably take awhile to upload to youtube unless I can compress it down, it is a gig and that was set on my t3i's lowest video setting

Glad to hear you got it working! Maybe you should have compressed the video with Handbrake first?

It is saving from windows movie maker, i can try compressing it in handbrake then uploading

Looks good. Air Control is a tough game with the finger, I cant imaging playing with a clunky mouse.
Videos look good, web browsing is OK, but I think I prefer my computer for that.
Is there a dedicated Amazon video viewer, or is it just the web page with popout flash videos?
