So much BS, so little time!

I must first search Coulter's and Rush's websites before I make a comment.

That's usually the case around here, it great when someone comes up with a point not on the tv or something and they have no view becasue rush or hannity havent told them how to think about it yet...

 utterly predictable, but then what do you expect from a group that thinks creativity is for socialists and gays...

Here's an admittedly conservative secondhand account. A friend of mine was in DC and was able to spend about half the day in and around the protest.

She had some hilarious stories... and some sad stories. Of course there were a ton of sign and posters and T-shirts. Everything from "Hugo Chavez For President", "Bush should pull out- I wish his daddy did," to "Bush: smells like lies, tastes like stupid" and the usual Bush-is-an-evil-terrorist stuff.

It had all kinds of people, including the same hippies wearing the same clothes from 35 years ago who look like they were resurrected for this event. There were some normal-ish looking families, but even they seemed a little taken aback by t-shirts with a bold "F**K BUSH" on them and sights like two 300lb chicks dancing topless.

There were dozens of little groups and factions... everything from doctors without borders, world socialist party, to anti-globalization and pro-abortion folks. It was a general melting pot of Leftwing people protesting something or other. Most were very extreme... for example, one typical speaker was lambasting Bush AND Hillary in the same sentence!

One thing that upset her though, was when a few women (I think for some Goldstar Moms or something) went to take their son's pictures off a wall, not saying a word, and were confronted with young men screaming horrible insults inches from their faces. In the end, she said the at-first funky and spicy atmosphere eventually left her with a hollow, slightly disturbed feeling. I think I know exactly how she felt. It's kinda like a crazy circus, but at least the circus is fun.

Anyways, I hope everyone gets to attend something like that someday.

It's usually extremist who are the first to protest. It will take a few years of this debacle in Iraq to bring out the rest.

We have already passed the few years point and there were plenty of normies there also.

IMO it's the computer and tv that keeps so many from coming out in public, people just don't get out as much nowdays....

It's pretty hard to organize anything in public espically when it comes to young people.

There'd be even more " normies" if you green haired whackos didn't show up in droves with your inane ranitngs about everything making those "normies"" look brain damaged by association

not brain dead..just not awake or courageous enough to get started yet.

When people get a good taste themselves in a personal aspect they will be there also..

all in due time. Some peoples bvllsh1t tolerance is higher then others until they start looking for how and why and a way to pull themselves out.

100k is the number you hear over and over becasue to say more would lead to trouble for the cops official count.

bravo to the non-violence aspect...the anarchists usually get up in arms about something, good to see they didnt torch bush's empty house... -today

(Though flooding the WH somehow would have been a riot as people were whispering about doing.)

Would have been great to see bush on his roof of HIS flooded house getting dragged down by poor black folk in handcuffs to await his war criminal trial.

Evidence of this?
