What custom roms is everyone running, I am looking to get a new one and can't decide on the Revolution or the insertcoin or trickdroid.

I hear so much about Cyanogen but their website is confusing as hell and I can't find if there is a stable rom for the HTC one on there or not

I'm using clean rom 5.2 which IMO, I think it's the stablest and very smooth.

I was using Android Revolution HD when I had the device. Sold it though, since someone offered to buy my device at the price I paid for, too good to let up.

That blue is pretty cool. I saw an HTC One at a store the other day and it seems like the build quality issue it suffered early on is largely resolved. (gaps) I am still not a fan of the convex back, but at 9mm thick, I have to admit that it doesn't affect the overall look negatively.

Has the red One been released yet?

With aluminum devices, when it's colored, I'd be more scared of scuffing/discoloring it.

The red One is available right now, but it's a Sprint exclusive, unfortunately.
If it had gold accents instead of black, it could be called the Iron Man phone... and they could have used Robert Downey Jr to promote that instead of doing troll car wash commercials. A missed opportunity.

Just got my Google Play credit.

Getting Dynamic Keyboard Pro, Riptide GP2, Floating Widget, Poweramp Full Version, Star Chart Infinite, and probably an album, book, or movie.

Anyone using the latest ARHD? About to upgrade from like version 9.. lol

I use ARHD 12.2, still on 4.2.2, and not even the latest version of it as the latest 4.2.2 ARHD is version 13.4. Very happy with it.

The latest version of ARHD is version 22 (they jumped from version 13 to 20 when leaked 4.3-base came out), which is based on the developer edition's latest 4.3 update.

If you're upgrading now, they took out all of the old versions so version 22 is the only one available for download. It seems to be pretty stable without any problem, especially since you'll be doing a full wipe anyway (you're going to be skipping 4.2 and go straight to 4.3, while it may work, please just forget about dirty flashing, start from scratch and save you potential headaches).

Also, you may want to upgrade your firmware first to the latest. Yours is likely still 1.2x, and currently the latest is version 3.22. You need to do an s-off first if you haven't. Follow the guide on this thread to do s-off and firmware upgrade, and you'll be golden.

Yup some people have done that without a problem. Some problems are little annoyances that not everyone realize, e.g. the missing widgets or the dock icons at the lock screen.

Before I forget, if you decide to upgrade your firmware, be aware that if you upgraded the firmware to 3.22 while you're still on 4.1.2-based ROM, you may lose touch completely if you boot the phone. This is not a huge problem if you're planning to flash a 4.2 or 4.3-based ROM right away anyway (just boot to recovery using adb, and then proceed to flash the new ROM), but just a warning.

I saw that. I think I have a 4.2 based ARHD laying around that I'll probably flash to first just to be on the safe side(?).

I don't think you need to install a 4.2-based first before going to 4.3-based. Just be careful with the potential touch problem as I mentioned above.

You can always flash the ROM first and then the firmware after that. Just make sure you s-off before you flash 4.3 ROM as I've heard some people are having trouble doing s-off on 4.3 although they still have old firmware/hboot. They had to flash back to a 4.2-based ROM - s-off - reflash 4.3-based ROM.

Google Services, or rather "Google Service Framework" in Android is a battery hog. It's worse than display sometimes which is astounding on phones/tablets. I've seen it, and also verified it by disabling it. I am in the process of getting myself rid of Google services for that and privacy.

My battery's back to normal. So, anyone got 4.3 OTA already? I saw some reports of people getting it but my phone still says nothing there...
