Did anyone tape Letterman with the Earnhardt burnout in a Corvette Z06?

I'll show you guys a real burn out when we get our new dragster put together. It like trmiv's motor will be a sbc on alcohol producing 700+/- horsepower.

What kind of cars are these? TRMIV: Is it a track car or a drag car? AMD skip.. What type of drag car is it? Those are Weld wheels, aren't they?

well i have to admit,the newer fuel injection Corvettes,kick butt,

i bet Dale Jr. can afford a clutch easier than I can too, LOL

I'm dead serious. I mean, maybe I just don't have a nack for engines that sound like that...but I just ain't feelin' it

I dont like it either. But i think it commands respect.

I'd definitely give it a second look if it pulled up beside me at a light...but it's probably be that annoying look I give to Harley riders when they come burblin' up beside me vibrating my car

I almost cant even fathom that sound coming from the Z06, I was looking for a big Harley in the background. Definetely not my style either.

Z06s sound much more refined due to not having a hot cam which makes the motor lope like a biattchh.

Having driven one and riding passenger in a few, I can honestly say that its probably my favorite motor to listen to all the way to redline. Ferraris are much to whiney for my personal tastes.

Oval track car. Races on 1/4 mile to 1/2 mile oval tracks.

The C5-R that I remember hearing at Infineon Raceway last summer had a much deeper sound than either the vid of the Z07 at idle or on the quarter strip. Ahh..but that damned Green olive garden ferrari has the loudest and highest pitched noted I've heard yet. ALMS is such a great racing series.

It does sound different in person. Plus, did you hear the C5-R sitting there idling?
