I'm curious to see what people here think. As much as I am frightened by the direction of the country, I still respect the fact that Bush won (both electoral & popular vote).

Edit: Unless I see proof - Don't want to be blind .

I said Fair and Square, but it's hard to maintain my acceptance and maturity level when Felix and others are prancing around like their team won the Super Bowl. It's not sports, fellas, sore losers and just as annoying and non-helpful as sore winners in politics.

I take issue with the unpatriotic thing. What happened to free expression even if you don't agree with it?

I don't question the patriotism of people who say that, I just question their intelligence.

Well, Felix and those "others" have not even responded in this thread. Deal with those situations within those threads - don't carry it over here.

Bush/Cheney won - fair and square.

Are you kidding. This election was so corrupt that I feel like im in a third world country.

A little something that makes you say hmm....

The CEO of Diebold, the supplier of 'electronic' voting systems heavily supported the republican party. In fact he promised to 'deliver' OHIO. Guess what voting machines where used in OHIO. These same machines were also used in Florida and jeb bush, bush's brother is gov of florida and he promised to deliver florida. I wonder why hes so confident? Maybe because he could easily stack the votes, and change people votes without any trace.

Furthermore, these electronic machines have dont give a receipt of your vote, and are very vulnerable to manipulation.
http://tampaindymedia.org/bin/...ire/2004/Nov/80468.dat

On CNN, a women voted for kerry and when the vote came up for review the machine recorded the vote for bush. Hmmm. Luckily this women decided to call a lawyer and have the machine removed. luckly this was brought to someones attention, but who knows how many times this could have happened and wasnt reported.

All across the country there was an active movement by the GOP to dismiss and intimidate as many voters as possible, especially native americans and minorities.

I could go on, but that should be enough to make you think.

im extrmemely disappointed by the amount of complacency by the people.

This is one sad time.

The votes are sent to a central server where no police officers are around. Second, Dont you think its a conflict of interest for a CEO of a company that has political interests to supply the voting machines for an election? Furthermore, he publicly annonced he would deliver a state. No one questioned this? There is NO RECORD of your vote. That in itself is a problem. These machines were known to be able to be easily hacked. Look it up. But yet, this isnt reported in the mainstream news.

Uh, what the hell? Have I done something to offend you? Do you not speak English? I was saying that maybe I shouldn't be bringing the situations in the other threads in here. What about that warrented that response?

I'm honestly hurt. You hurt my feelings

Ok, not really, you did however, manage to bring the thread to a new low. Flaming about nothing...that's good stuff.
